AUGUST RETREAT: EARLY BIRD PRICING IS NOW OPEN (SAVE 20%)

A Space to Simply Be
We often move through our lives in a rush, looking for the next thing to do, the next person to please, or the next goal to reach. Our inaugural retreat in Oxford, Connecticut, is an invitation to pause that cycle. It is a three-day journey designed to help you land softly back into your own heart.
Everything we do here is rooted in Maya—the Nepali word for love. We aren't here to 'fix' ourselves or master a pose; we are here to practice the art of being exactly who we are.
The Experience
Over the course of a long weekend, we will move through a gentle rhythm designed to nourish both the body and the creative soul:
• Move & Breathe: Daily yoga and breathwork sessions to find your flow and release what no longer serves you.
• Create & Heal: Immersive therapeutic art workshops where we use color and expression to connect with our inner world.
• Stillness & Sound: Restorative sound healing and guided meditations to quiet the mind and settle the nervous system.
• Deep Connection: Shared meals and small-circle gatherings where you can enjoy the warmth of a community
that truly sees you.
Our Promise
You don’t have to be 'good' at art or 'experienced' in yoga to be here. This is a safe, inclusive space for the tired, the curious, and the intentional. Whether you are coming to heal, to create, or simply to breathe in a new environment, know this: You belong here exactly as you are.

The Rhythm of our Days
While we leave plenty of room for rest and spontaneity, here is a glimpse of the gentle flow we will share together:
Morning: Soft awakening with breathwork and fluid yoga to ground the body.
Mid-day: A wholesome, communal brunch followed by quiet time or nature walks.
Afternoon: Meditation and therapeutic art sessions — exploring expression through color and texture.
Evening: Family-style dinner, yin yoga, and sound healing to settle the spirit.
WHERE WE GATHER
Located in the quiet, healing landscape of Oxford, Connecticut, our home for the weekend is the private retreat sanctuary of Daya Studio. Known for anchoring deep community in New York, Daya’s retreat space is an extension of that same warmth—a soft, light-filled place to land, breathe, and connect.
The Space: A light-filled, cozy private home surrounded by vibrant greenery. We will practice on dedicated outdoor platforms, allowing us to move while breathing in the fresh forest air.
Nature at your door: The compound features its own private hiking trails, perfect for meditative walks reconnecting with the earth between sessions.
Nourishment: We are so lucky to have a talented chef Evan Louise joining us to prepare every meal. We will share a diverse menu of both veg and non-veg options, all served around our communal table.
Rest: Intimate shared rooms designed to feel like a warm, restful embrace—the perfect place to land at the end of a soulful day.

MEET OUR RETREAT
CHEF & HOST
EVAN LOUISE
There’s something special about breaking bread with someone who truly understands food as love, that’s exactly what Evan brings to our retreat.
Evan’s culinary journey began in the Philippines, where she graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts in 2017. Then trained in Manila and Orlando before making New York her home. She's worked in acclaimed fine dining kitchens like Hutong, Queensyard, Porter House, and Tavern on the Green, and is now Assistant Pastry Chef at the Waverly Inn.
For our retreat, Evan is bringing her heart—and her heritage—to the table. She'll be preparing a traditional Filipino boodle fight: a joyful, hands-on communal feast served on banana leaves, meant to be shared with laughter and good company.
Alongside this special meal, she'll offer a thoughtful balance of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, made with the same care she brings to every dish she creates.
Warm, generous, and deeply kind — Evan pours her heart into every meal. We can't wait for you to taste it.
